Well done Patrice.

The cops sometimes get bad press, and sometimes they deserve it. But French cop Patrice Martin whilst all hell was breaking out around him tended to English fan Andrew Bache who had been viciously attacked by Russian Ultras in Marseille. As his officers sought to give him cover Patrice performed CPR on Andrew and brought him back. Patrice did what cops the civilised world over do daily, usually without any recognition. I just wanted to say that I applaud you, Patrice and your fellow officers.

THEY NEVER SAID IT WOULD BE EASY.

As some of you are aware, the company which took over my new publisher announced that they would be dropping their crime and thriller imprint prior to its launch. I had recently signed with them for my new series of crime novels. Oops.
However, I am pleased to announce that I have now signed with the wonderful Endeavour Press, and they will be publishing my new novel - the first in the new series - entitled, 'THROUGH A TWISTED PRISM' as an E-book and in paperback.

I'll keep you updated as things progress. For those of you who have read and enjoyed my 'Burrows and Lee' books, I will be returning to them at some stage to see what they are up to? But if you enjoyed those characters, I think you are going to love meeting the characters in 'Through a Twisted Prism'; well, that's the hope anyway.
Thanks,
Roger.

A great 5-star review on Amazon in Canada for ' A New Menace '.

Once again, Roger Price has delivered a captivating read with his crime thriller, A New Menace. This book follows By Their Rules and I liked how the author provided enough background information cleverly woven into the story line for those who might not have read the first book. My advice: Read the first book, you won’t be disappointed.

Shake the Spiders by Anne Wentworth. A five-star read for any fan of Young Adult fiction.

An author friend of mine who writes, among other things, young adult fiction under the pen name - Anne Wentworth - has recently published 'Shake the Spiders' via Finch Books an imprint of Totally Entwined Group. She has been encouraging me to write YA, and I may well have a go when things on my crime thriller front are less busy.
However, she kindly sent me a copy of her new book which is available on early release via the below link, to read. And even though I'm supposed to be an 'old adult', I really enjoyed it; it dragged me back to my early teens when I used to love the fictional worlds created by Enid Blyton.
Set in rural Canada it is a mystery with a ghostly twist, but in a benevolent way. The way the author gives depth to her characters by meaningful and taut dialogue immerses you as you read.
It goes on general release on the 31st May, but if you have a bored teen who loves reading mystery fiction I heartily recommend you download a copy now. Great read, Anne and I look forward to posting a review via on-line sellers once it appears. Thanks.
